Hazel’s Recipe started in February 2020 by a mother-daughter team inspired by the cherished memories created from simple family recipes. We are on a mission to celebrate life’s sweetest moments spent with the people you love.
Every cake is baked by hand as we strive to deliver the freshest products possible made with the utmost care—as if we were baking for our own family. Every cake is baked and immediately sent out on that same day to insure our customers enjoy a true artisan, hand crafted product.

Our story
Hazel’s Recipe was truly born out of love and family. Hazel, my Irish grandmother, and Mary, her sister-in-law, would make the most amazing cakes for weekend family gatherings in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. Weekends were about spending time with extended family, and it was special. Years later, when I was home from college for the holidays, I found an old recipe card for one of these bundt cakes. I baked it and realized I needed to continue the tradition once I had a family of my own. It was a simple coffee cake made with the purest ingredients, and it was magic.
For decades this coffee cake has been the centerpiece for every holiday morning in our home. Gathering around our kitchen island, sipping our coffee, and enjoying each other’s company with a slice of cake became a cherished, unspoken tradition. Hazel’s Recipe is a symbol of togetherness and familial ties, and Hazel was the epitome of family devotion. So let us bake you a cake in honor of family, loved ones, and Hazel.
